Friends

I'm on a day roll of blogging, and since I really need a break from studying I figured I would get another one out while I can .

I have some of the best friends in the world. Here are a few of them, and perhaps a reason or two why they are so great. And if I can find a good one, maybe a picture.

I have a group of friends that I've known for a long time. Some of them for almost 20 years.

I have known Amber the longest of my friends. I've even got the pictures from dance class when we did the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini (I will not be posting that picture). Amber lived around the block from me for most of my life, and when I was younger I did not take advantage of the friendship that I could have had with her. That was my mistake, because Amber is awesome. I loved being able to just walk around the block and chat with her. I love her and her family. And I am so excited for her to be a mom now. She just had an adorable baby girl.

Jessica I've known for some time also. Some of my favorite memories with Jess are our random songs we used to sing and harmonize too. Along with riding in the back of her trooper. Those were the good days. Jess has an amazing family, and now also has an amazing family of her own. Another thing, Jess always had such a strong spirit to her. I've always looked up to her for that.

Kim, oh there are so many things to say about Kim. Until recently Kim and I were the unmarried ones in the group(now it's just me), but this led to us doing random things, like borders and steamers that taste like Christmas, and sharing nachos at Los Hermanos (although we never finished the whole thing). Kim is the type of person that you can always count on. If I just need to vent or talk or whatever, I know Kim is good for it.

Des is amazing. I remember many a night of her and I making some sort of dinner at her place. We had some good times. Des is just good. Some other fond memories were the many nights in high school that we would go to the Hogi Yogi cause Des would be working. We would eat sometimes, other times we would just sit and chat.

Stacy is the person you can always turn to when you want to be upset, she was the one who would listen and empathize. She also is always good for a laugh.

Tracy and I go way back also. And some of the best times I remember with her are the nights we would sit in my driveway and chat about life. These were some great times, and I learned a lot. Tracy is amazing, she is unique and just plain wonderful.

Other friends that I haven't known as long, but are still just as amazing. Note this is not a comprehensive list.
Carie- She's like another sister to me. (all thanks to visiting teaching)
Mel- One of the most spiritual people I know.
Sharla- I love talking with this girl.
Caitlyn- She is one of the most thoughtful people I know.
Lisa- Funny and amazing.
Heather A- She just makes me laugh.
Amber A- One of my favorite people ever, in every way.
Amber B- I feel like I can chat with her about anything (another visiting teaching story)
Broderick- My link to the male world :) Just kidding, he's awesome, someone I always like talking to.
Sarah- My racquetball buddy, and someone I can always talk to.
Jac- We've had a lot of good chats

I'm so blessed to have so many amazing friends. They frequently remind me of one of my favorite scriptures
Doctrine and Covenants 121:7-10

7My son, apeace be unto thy soul; thine badversity and thine afflictions shall be but a csmall moment;

8And then, if thou aendure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy bfoes.

9Thy afriends do stand by thee, and they shall hail thee again with warm hearts and friendly hands.

10Thou art not yet as Job; thy afriends do not contend against thee, neither charge thee with transgression, as they did Job.

So thank you to all my friends, whether you were mentioned or not, I am so grateful for all of you.

May

May was a very interesting month for me. I had a lot of time to reflect and remember on things that have happened to me, and people I've known. So here are some of my thoughts from May.

First off, I kind of lost my faith in mankind a little bit after some experiences with some dishonest and very prideful people. But recently, I've had a few experiences that rekindled that faith. There are good people in the world, people whose motivations are pure and not evil. So thank you to those people.

Second off, I'm moving to Hawaii. It's beautiful. After a family vacation there, I think I'll just move there and live on the beach. Would anyone like to finance this endeavor?
Here are some more pictures from that trip.
This is the beach a block from our hotel.Hawaii Temple. Beautiful.
(We also saw Mark Eubank there, very exciting)

My cute niece sporting her hawaiian wear.
This guy was at the PCC in Tonga. He was hilarious.
He sounded similar to the guy at Wendys on Bulldog. Anyone know who I'm talking about?

Okay, posting lots of pictures takes too long, so if you'd like to see or know more about my trip, just ask.

Third, this is probably the biggest one. I've been interviewing for jobs for the past 3 weeks. And this has gotten me thinking a lot. As I have had to answer questions about "do you recall a time when....?" It has got me thinking about my past and all the people who have given me "my experiences". So here are a few.
When I was a student I worked at the library, and I had not only an awesome boss, but fantastic coworkers. Kimball was one of the best bosses ever. I learned tons and had so many great experiences. One coworker in particular that was a great friend and an awesome person Kirsten. Just lots of good memories there.
While thinking about school, I had some fantastic friends who got me through some of the more difficult classes and times. Heather was always willing to spend hours teaching me physics (she's a genius). Natalie who single handed got me through Calculus.
Also all of my roommates I've had, I calculated one day, and wow I had a ton. Some of my favorites Tarin, Lorette, Jen, Katie, Liisa, Sarah, Natalie, Heather, Lisa, Kyla, Emily, Ashlee, Mer, Mel, Carie, Amber, Nicole, Scarlett, Emily, Melissa.

That's only naming a few. I've been very fortunate to have some amazing roommates and other friends and I'm very grateful for all of them. To name a few friends Maren, Hillary, Rachel, Marybeth, Bryan, Broderick, Steve, Sharla, Jac, Nathan, Ryan, Brian, Daniel. I'm lucky.

Well I can't add any more pictures right now, so I'm going to have to stop. But I've got a few more things I'm going to write about, maybe later today or tomorrow.
